Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor’s, graduate or PhD degree, returning to an academic program after the internship.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 across coursework.
• Commitment to June 1 – August 20, 2027, or June 21 – September 10, 2027.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during set hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and maintain software for real-time, safety critical robotic applications.
• Contribute to software architecture, framework design, and system-level design for robotic platforms.
• Implement and enhance software components across application, embedded, firmware, UI, and algorithmic domains.
• Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, debugging activities, and root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, electrical, mechanical, quality, and clinical engineering partners.
• Apply software quality, cybersecurity, reliability, and maintainability best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
