A leading healthcare provider in Cedar Falls is seeking a full-time RN for their Surgery department. The role involves assessing and coordinating patient care in a fast-paced environment. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for a limited time. The position requires a current IA RN license, with a BSN preferred, and no prior experience is necessary. Position Purpose:
Our Surgery department has 12 fast-paced rooms at Waterloo Medical Center. Our cases include trauma, orthopedic, podiatry, general surgery, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery. RNs scrub, circulate, and assist.
What you will do:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and other team members.
Hours/Schedule:
1.0 FTE, day shift; hours depend on cases, including evening and weekend call. Must be within 30 minutes when on call.
Minimum qualifications:
Current IA RN license. BSN preferred. No previous experience required.
