Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Surgical Unit in Grand Junction, CO. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Key duties include comprehensive assessments, care planning, timely documentation, and guiding delegated care. BSN is preferred; active RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN preferred; BSN required by 4/27/2025 update; BSN within 4 years if <12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status with team input.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: Directs care coordination and delegates as needed to meet plan.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises plan as indicated and reassesses as needed.
• Professionalism: Adheres to standards, documents accurately, and maintains licensure compliance.
