Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit team. The staff RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with <12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN preferred and will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs comprehensive assessment of patient status and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized care plans with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: Directs care through delegation and collaboration, managing time and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes, revises care plan as needed, reassesses changes.
• Professionalism: Maintains licensure standards, documentation, and ethical practice.
