Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgery unit. This PRN rotating, in-person position requires an active state RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited school. BLS must be obtained within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months.

Prior OR experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth. Join a dynamic operating room team with diverse case types and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
