Job summary
Metric Systems LLC in Beckley, WV is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role focuses on perioperative care in a fast-paced environment, supporting circulator and surgical technologists across orthopedic and other specialties.
You will assess patients, plan and deliver age-appropriate nursing care, and document care accurately. Requirements include an active RN license, an ADN or BSN, 1+ year of surgery experience, and BLS with ACLS/PALS within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- Current state RN license.
- Associate or BSN in Nursing.
- 1+ years of Surgery experience.
- BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
- Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
- Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
- Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
