Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a diligent Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgery. This PRN rotating, in-person role supports perioperative care in a fast-paced OR with diverse specialties.

You will perform assessments, implement care plans, and document thoroughly to support medical necessity. Requirements include BLS with ACLS and PALS within six months, and a preference for one year of RN experience; ASLS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient
