Job summary

We are a diversified healthcare delivery network in Beckley, WV, seeking a Registered Nurse to join our OR team. The RN will perform assessments, initiate care, and document extensively to support medical necessity. Current state RN license and an associate or bachelor’s degree are required.

Required within 30 days: BLS; within six months: ACLS and PALS. One year of surgical experience is preferred; ASLS is a plus. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within six months.
• 1 year of surgical experience preferred; ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate patient assessments and identifies needs.
• Initiates nursing interventions based on assessments.
• Delivers age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Documents clinical information supporting medical necessity.
• Develops and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
