Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Transfers required for compact licenses.
• BSN preferred; BSN required as of 2025 update.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Collaboratively plan and educate; prepare for ongoing support needs after current care episode.
• Direct and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to meet the plan of care.
