Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Implement: Directs care through delegation and coordination while managing time and resources.
• Evaluate: Revises plan of care based on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Professionalism: Maintains legal/ethical standards and accurate documentation.
