Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit, a 43-bed unit specializing in acute and chronic digestive surgical care including bariatric patients and post-operative management.

The role involves post-operative care, wound and ostomy management, and close collaboration with surgical residents and OMFS to ensure safe patient transitions. External applicants may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative nursing care for complex surgical patients.
• Assess wounds, ostomies, drains and perform relevant care.
• Collaborate with surgical residents and OMFS to plan care.
• Ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
