The unit emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and ongoing education. External applicants may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment and relocation assistance depending on distance.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Illinois (IDFPR) and BLS
• HS Diploma/GED required
• RN with 1+ year experience preferred for external applicants

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment upon patient admission and develop plan of care.
• Implement and monitor nursing interventions per unit standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation for the healthcare team and ensure patient safety.
• Provide post-operative care and manage complex wound/ostomy care.
• Collaborate with surgical residency and OMFS teams to support patient outcomes.
