Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit. The unit cares for acute and chronic digestive surgical patients in a high-acuity setting with close collaboration with surgical residents and OMFS services.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Illinois IDFPR registration and BLS certification.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• External applicants only; RN with 1+ year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care for complex surgical patients.
• Assess and manage wounds, ostomies, and related devices.
• Collaborate with surgical residents and OMFS teams for safe patient transitions.
