Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a registered nurse for the NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit. You will provide postoperative care for complex surgical patients, manage wounds and ostomies, and collaborate with surgical teams in a high-acuity 43-bed unit.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS, and a HS diploma or GED; experience in postoperative and trauma care is valued. Comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) per IDFPR; BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-specific nursing duties and documentation.

• Collaborate with residents and attendings to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Provide post-operative care and wound/ostomy management as indicated.
