Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team. You will work side by side with surgeons to deliver exceptional perioperative care, using advanced clinical skills before, during, and after surgery.

This full-time RNFA role requires CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within one year of hire, active RN licensure in Missouri, and perioperative nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum perioperative nursing experience.
• CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within one year of hire.
• BLS/ACLS within first year.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional perioperative care alongside surgeons.
• Support patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Demonstrate continued competence in perioperative nursing.
