Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri seeks an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team. You will work closely with surgeons to provide exceptional perioperative care, supporting patients before, during, and after procedures in a fast-paced OR.

The role is full-time, dayshift, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within one year are required or preferred, along with active RN licensure and perioperative

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Active RN licensure in state of practice.
• Experience: Minimum perioperative nursing experience.
• Certifications: CNOR and RN-First Assistant class within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• BLS/ACLS within first year.
• Other: Demonstrates continued competence in perioperative nursing.
• Preferred: CNOR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in collaboration with surgeons.
• Support patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team.
