Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our collaborative surgical team. You will work side-by-side with surgeons to deliver perioperative care before, during, and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in MO.
• Minimum perioperative nursing experience.
• CNOR and RN-First Assistant training within 1 year.
• BLS/ACLS within first year.
• Continued competence in perioperative nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided by direct staff.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Contributes to high standards of care in the OR.
• Work side-by-side with surgeons to provide perioperative care.
