Job summary

Providence is seeking an RNFA to join St. Joseph Hospital Of Orange. The role involves directly assisting the surgeon during the intra-operative phase, controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure and suturing under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have RNFA training, 3 years of OR scrub/circulating experience, and hold a California RN license with BLS certification. This position operates within hospital policies and patient-centered care standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience scrubbing and circulating as an RN in the OR.
• Successful completion of accredited RNFA course.
• California RN license required on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon intra-operatively with hemostasis and exposure.
• Suture and perform surgical tasks under supervision.
• Adhere to California Board of Registered Nursing as RNFA.
• Follow St. Joseph Hospital policies and procedures.
