Indiana University Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room activities at our Bloomington facility. This full-time day shift role requires on-call coverage, including weekend shifts every six weeks and two weekday overnight call shifts weekly.
The ideal candidate will ensure equipment and instrumentation are ready, assist surgeons and ensure sterile technique, while maintaining rapid turnover of the OR for efficient case flow.

This is a full time day shift role. On‑call coverage required, including two weekend shifts every six weeks spanning Friday end of shift through Monday at 7:00 AM, as well as two weekday overnight call shifts per week from end of shift through 7:00 AM.
Surgical Skilled Technologists provide service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assists in ensuring the presence and proper arrangement of surgical equipment, supplies and instrumentation in the operating room prior to each operation. Provides assistance to the surgeon in the operating room as allowed by professional and legal standards. Assists in the turnover of the operating room after the procedure ensuring proper routing and/or processing of all specimens, equipment, instrumentation and supplies. Works as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.
