Job summary

KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc. seeks a Region Sales Manager - Surgical to lead sales across laparoscopic, arthroscopic, CV/thoracoscopy segments in the Ohio Valley. You will drive revenue, manage a regional team, and partner with key healthcare stakeholders to expand market presence.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sales leadership within medical devices, exceptional communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience, including 2+ years in medical device sales (surgical preferred).
• Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
• Recruit and retain top sales talent; address performance and HR issues as needed.
• Develop and execute annual sales plans and forecasts.
• Drive market share growth across all product lines.
• Leverage product differentiators to influence purchasing decisions.
• Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare stakeholders.
• Serve as key account manager for strategic customers.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and post-sale support.
• Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to internal teams.
• Recommend new product opportunities or enhancements.
• Manage regional budget and sales sample inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.
