Job summary

UPMC Physician Services is seeking an experienced Office Manager to support UPP Surgery practices at UPMC Jameson and UPMC Horizon, located at 26 Nesbitt Road, Suite 151, New Castle, PA 16105, and 2000 Memorial Drive, Suite A, Farrell, PA 16121.

This full-time leadership role oversees daily administrative and operational functions across multiple surgical locations, ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Healthcare administrative leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate scheduling issues when staff are not scheduled.
• Coordinate and staff laser templates, ensuring proper patient scheduling.
• Review patient schedules to troubleshoot overbooked clinics and staffing needs.
• Develop and maintain a patient-centric culture aligned with consumerism initiatives.
• Maintain correspondence with Practice Manager on personnel, HR, supplies and patient issues.
• Order all supplies and services for the practice.
• Apply administrative policies to protect patients, staff and department.
• Monitor and meet practice benchmarks for patient access and scheduling.
• Provide maintenance coordination for equipment used by clinical staff.
