Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.
• California Physician Assistant License required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Physician Assistant National Certification required at hire.
• Fluoroscopy Permit required, or must be obtained within 18 months from date of hire in Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and Radiation Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide team-based patient care under the supervision of a physician.
• Examine patients, perform physical exams, and document findings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as needed.
• Perform procedures such as injections, sutures, wound care, and minor surgical tasks.
• Assist in surgeries as applicable and participate in perioperative care.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and coordinate care.
