Job summary

Banner - University Medical Center Tucson is hiring a Surgical PCU RN for a fast-paced 24-bed unit. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients, with emphasis on wound, ostomy, and drain care in a busy PCU setting.

The position is a full-time day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) requiring availability on holidays and weekends. New graduates are encouraged to apply and benefit from a supportive team and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop realistic care plans.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
• Deliver direct nursing care per physician orders and policy.
• Document care and patient responses accurately for continuity.
• Assist with discharge planning and education of patients and families
