Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a licensed Physician Assistant for the Surgical Specialty-Operative team. The PA provides direct patient care, has prescriptive authority, and works under a supervising physician across multiple surgical services.

The role covers perioperative management, inpatient and outpatient settings, with emphasis on General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, and other specialties.

Competenze

• Graduated from an Accredited PA program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical PA experience.
• Hold a current Texas Physician Assistant license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Mansioni

• Assess physical and mental condition of patients and obtain histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and imaging as needed.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments under physician supervision.
• Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Provide perioperative patient management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
