ADVANCED CHENEGA SERVICES, LLC in Fort Bragg, NC seeks an Operating Room Technician (Surgical) to support Womack Army Medical Center. You will assist patient transport, scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile technique in a fast-paced OR.

The role requires CST/MOS or formal OR tech training, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience in a surgical setting. Candidates must adapt to shift flexibility and teamwork.

Formación

• Graduate from a Surgical Technology program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or completion of a formal training program provided by a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces for surgical technicians/surgical technologists/operating room technicians.
• Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA or possess MOS certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA, Red Cross or other approved body.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a certified surgical technologist in the last two years prior to contract execution.
• Certification from an accredited OR Tech training program

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients to the Operating Room in a safe manner.
• Assist with preparing the patient and operating room per pre-operative nursing care plan.
• Hands instruments to the surgeon and assist with tissue manipulation as directed.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with sponge, instrument, and sharp counts.
• Maintain OR equipment and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Perform daily equipment tests and other duties as assigned.
