Temple University Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Technician for a full-time 36-hour schedule with a Day Flex shift. The role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures, preparing the surgical field per procedure and surgeon preference, and maintaining strict aseptic technique.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus OR tech training; year of OR experience is preferred and OR/ Surgical Tech certification may be required depending on hire date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Training in operating room technology with on-the-job components.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares the surgical field according to procedure and surgeon’s preference.
• Follows strict aseptic techniques and hospital policies and procedures.
