Job summary

Precision Vision Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op, Post-Op and Operating Room coverage. This PRN role requires RN licensure in OK, completion of an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification. Prior experience in surgical or ASC settings is strongly preferred.

You will assess, plan, implement and document nursing care while maintaining a safe, compliant environment and supporting a collaborative operating room team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in surgical, ASC, Pre/Post-Op, PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical, Telemetry or OR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct patient care in an Operating Room.
• Ensure proper techniques per standards of practice.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights.
• Provide ethical, legal care within licensure scope.
• Supervise personnel in the room and assist as needed.
• Document events and report unusual occurrences to charge personnel.
• Coordinate, communicate and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in QA/education.
