Job summary

Vision Innovation Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care across the surgical continuum in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role includes pre-operative assessments, circulating duties during procedures, and PACU care, with a focus on patient safety and effective communication.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, ophthalmology OR experience preferred, and must have BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an operating room setting, ophthalmology preferred.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BCLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required upon employment (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the surgical continuum in ASC.
• Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments and document per policy.
• Circulating nurse during procedures, coordinate room activities and anticipate surgeon/anesthesia needs.
• Administer medications safely and per physician orders.
• Support PACU care including airway management and vital signs.
