Qualifications

• Requires OR circulating experience within the last two years in acute care hospital
• Associates degree in nursing accepted if OR/CSOR experience is demonstrated
• BSN and scrubbing/circulating experience preferred
• RN license for CA at hire
• CPR certification at hire
• ACLS at hire

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care
• Multitasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care to achieve efficient outcomes
• Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution
• Prepares cases and ensures timely, accurate case start times and setting up instruments and supplies
• Documents on unit and patient records accurately and concisely
• Initiates repairs and resolves missing equipment or supplies as needed
