Job summary

A healthcare facility in California is seeking a Surgical Services Circulating RN to provide comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical continuum. Responsibilities include direct patient interaction, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and ensuring the highest care standards. Candidates must have a valid California RN license, BCLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of experience in an acute care setting, ideally within the Operating Room. Qualifications

• Ability to assess and reassess pain and utilize appropriate pain management techniques.
• Experience in the Operating Room environment required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anesthetic drugs and their side effects.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to a wide range of patient populations.
• Communicates continuously with the surgical team regarding patient condition.
• Ensures all regulatory agency standards are met during procedures.

Skills

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Basic computer knowledge

Education

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California

Current BCLS Certification

Current ACLS with Basic EKG or Arrhythmia-identification Certification

Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the Operating Room or Nursing Experience in an acute setting
