Job summary

The University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the FHCC campus team. You will work four clinic days per week with one administrative day, providing evaluation and management of pre-/post-operative patients within a multidisciplinary endocrine and colorectal service.

Qualifications

• WA State RN licensure for ARNP or PA licensure.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• National certification and DEA eligibility.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficient English communication, both written and verbal.
• Surgical clinic or OR experience preferred; onboarding available for new grads with surgical training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgery attendings and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Perform complex and problem-focused H&P’s.
• Evaluate and manage pre/postoperative patients and long-term surveillance.
• Perform procedures per licensure and privileges.
• Provide patient, caregiver, and peer education.
• Communicate with inpatient and outpatient teams; participate in rounds and committees.
