Carle Health is seeking a Health Care Technician (HCT) to support licensed nursing staff in caring for an assigned patient group. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, documenting patient information, and ensuring safety and efficient unit operation.

Under RN supervision, the HCT will communicate across departments, handle supplies, and help manage admissions and discharges to maintain a high-quality patient environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification required or completed within 24 months.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily living activities and hygiene.
• Maintain unit supplies and clean equipment.
• Record patient data and vital signs accurately.
• Support transport of patients as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and respond to call lights promptly.
