Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to obtain UCIMC Allied Health Privileges prior to hire.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the program and UCI Health System.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with patient care documentation.
• Current California RN license and NP licensure; NP certification required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Vietnamese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care of surgical patients across general and specialty services, including ICU.
• Perform consults, order diagnostics, and create treatment plans.
• Participate in rounds and hand-offs with surgery teams.
• Coordinate procedures, admissions, and discharges.
• Triage calls, review labs, and maintain comprehensive medical histories.
