Job summary

Riverview Health in Indiana is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to provide comprehensive health care in the surgical setting. You will work closely with general surgeons in the OR and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Applicants should have an Indiana NP/PA license and at least five years of related clinical experience; board certification is preferred. This is a full-time onsite role at Riverview Health facilities.

Qualifications

• NP or PA licensure required in Indiana.
• Minimum RN experience and NP/PA certification/licensure.
• Clinical experience in surgical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe and regulate medications per written collaborative agreement.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions using pharmacology and pathophysiology knowledge.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team, organize assignments, and help team achieve outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments including psychosocial and wellness considerations.
• Establish diagnoses, order studies, monitor procedures, and follow up per protocols.
• Serve as a resource to staff and contribute to educational programs.
• Support research efforts by sharing knowledge and applying findings.
• Other duties as assigned.
