Job summary

Riverside Medical Group seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our Neurosurgery team at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. You will provide patient-centered care in a collaborative, high‑quality environment, guided by our Provider Compact, focused on safety, innovation and teamwork.

The role includes outpatient clinics, operating room support, inpatient and outpatient management, and participation in program initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Virginia NP or PA license or eligibility in Virginia.
• Board certification or board eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient clinic visits, including new patient consultations and post-operative follow-up.
• Assist neurosurgeons in the operating room.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient patient management as needed.
• Support evidence-based practice initiatives and patient outcomes.
• Serve as a key member of Riverside's Comprehensive Neurosurgical Program.
