Qualifications

• Master’s degree as NP or PA from an accredited program.
• Eligibility to obtain Orthopaedic NP specialty certification (ONP‑C).
• Current Minnesota license and NCCPA certification.
• Active NP or PA licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical exams.
• Interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and establish working diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop care plans.
• Document patient data including admission/discharge notes and progress notes.
• Prescribe medications and manage devices within scope.
• Provide patient education and facilitate medical documentation.
• Participate in research and quality assurance.
