Alcon is hiring a Surgical Medical Science Liaison, Central, to join our Research & Development function. The role focuses on presenting scientific information, gathering insights, and driving problem-solving through scientific principles.

This remote US role includes 75% travel and will handle the Surgical portfolio. Preferred locations include TX, IA, KS, LA, and MO. The Sr. Principal, MSL path emphasizes scientific exchange and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7 years of relevant experience in medical affairs or liaison roles.

Responsibilities

• Present scientific and clinical information on Alcon products to medical experts.
• Gather insights to influence company strategies through scientific exchange.
• Direct human clinical trials oversight (Phases III/IV) for products under development.
• Collaborate with Med Info, Med Safety, and regulatory teams to address safety issues and EMR reporting.
• Interface with cross-functional teams across Commercial, QA, R&D, Regulatory, and Market Access.
