Job summary

This remote US role requires ~75% travel, oversees the Surgical portfolio, and collaborates with Med Info, Safety, Regulatory, and Marketing to support evidence-based medical exchange and investigator trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant medical/science liaison experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts and key opinion leaders.
• Provide medical information in therapeutic areas to practitioners and Alcon associates; respond to unsolicited requests.
• Engage in scientific discussions around product data and medical safety matters.
• Direct human clinical trials (Phases III/IV) and monitor adherence to protocols.
• Sign off on product safety reviews and liaise with regulatory agencies.
