Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Surgical Medical Science Liaison, Central, to join our Research & Development function. The role focuses on presenting scientific information, gathering insights, and driving biomedical strategies.

It requires leadership in clinical discussions, investigator trials, and collaboration across Medical Affairs and Regulatory teams. The position is remote in the US with approximately 75% travel, preferably based in TX, IA, KS, LA or MO, and supports our Surgical portfolio with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Must fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts and key opinion leaders.
• Provide medical information and engage in scientific discussions around product data.
• Direct human clinical trials, monitor adherence to protocols and report to regulatory bodies.
