VillageMD offers a Medical Assistant position focused on supporting physicians, PAs, and NPs with patient flow and clerical duties in a physician-led network. The MA will prepare exam rooms, document vital signs, manage EHR records, and coordinate referrals with a patient-centered approach.

Strong communication in English, BLS, and completion of an accredited MA or phlebotomy program are required. Travel to satellite offices may be needed; compensation aligns with industry standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Strong English communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient in for visits.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate records.
• Prepares information needed for patient visits and updates EHR.
• Handles scheduling and communications with patients and teams.
• Stocks rooms and assists in ordering supplies.
• Document allergies and medications in EHR; manage prescription refills.
• Enter orders in PMS/EHR and coordinate referrals.
