VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and NPs with clinical and clerical tasks. You will manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, document vitals, and maintain up-to-date medication/allergy information in the EHR.

Requires graduation from an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, 0–1 year experience (2–4 preferred), and BLS certification. Strong English communication and multitasking are essential; travel to satellite offices may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience required.
• 2-4 years related work experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.

Responsabilidades

• Assists physician/PA/NP with clerical duties, patient flow and care.
• Prepares examination room and equipment.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate patient scheduling.
• Documents vitals and patient information in EHR.
• Records allergies and medication list in EHR with accuracy.
• Uses PMS/EHR to enter orders and referrals and manage appointments.
