Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician in Washington State in good standing.
• Strong clinical skills with anesthesia, monitoring, and animal handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-, peri-, and post-operative care for high-volume surgical patients.
• Monitor anesthesia, track vital signs, respond to medical changes or emergencies.
• Assist veterinarians during surgery and perform technical tasks such as catheter placement and sample analysis.
• Safely handle and document controlled substances with accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate discharge instructions and education to clients.
• Train veterinary assistants and volunteers on patient care protocols and best practices.
