Job summary

You will work with a skilled team, handle radiography, anesthesia, and clinical procedures, while upholding high standards of client communication and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program is required.
• WA state Veterinary Technician license in good standing and successful VTNE completion are required.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture built on Respect, Learning, and WOW Service.
• Provide professional, efficient veterinary care and exceptional service to clients while maintaining productivity.
• Obtain patient history and perform initial evaluation of patient condition.
• Assist Veterinarian during examination, procedures, and surgery.
• Restrain pets during exams as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Prepare samples for diagnostic testing and perform laboratory tests.
• Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Administer medications and injections under veterinary supervision.
• Ensure anesthesia safety and perform radiographic procedures as needed.
• Support team collaboration and adhere to practice policies.
