Job summary

Stryker is seeking an on-site installation specialist to lead the setup and testing of surgical lighting suspensions, booms, and video systems. You will coordinate with sales, engineering, field service, and contractors to ensure compliance with standards and timely project delivery.

The role requires 100% overnight travel, with travel and lodging covered by Stryker. Strong coordination, communication, and technical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 0-2 years technical experience or comparable skill set.
• $28.01 - $38.75 USD Hourly

Responsibilities

• Confirms site readiness and performs detailed product inventory and communicates issues to the project team.
• Installs surgical light suspension systems, booms, video integration systems and cabling per specs.
• Programs, tests, and inspects all video integration sources and conducts quality checks.
• Maintains accurate records of installation activities and task completion.
• Provides timely project updates to stakeholders and coordinates with Quality for compliance.
• Interprets wiring diagrams and CAD drawings for installation work.
• Understands infrastructure, electrical, and network requirements of equipment.
• Learns basic IP networking requirements related to Stryker products.
• Trains to ensure consistent installation practices across locations.
• Books travel arrangements and manages daily schedule for installations.
• Maintains stakeholder relationships and trains customers as needed.
• Manages inventory of tools and equipment and installation records.
• Responds to inquiries and communicates project status clearly.
• Builds relationships with partners to improve processes and service.
• Follows safety policies and PPE procedures; completes required training.
• Promotes safe work practices and maintains LMS records.
