Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Installation Specialist to perform on-site physical installation, testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems in hospital environments. You will collaborate with sales, project engineering, field service, electricians, plumbers and perioperative staff to ensure successful deployments.

The role requires 100% overnight travel, with travel, lodging and meals paid according to policy.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred but not required.
0–2 years technical experience or comparable skill set.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install surgical light suspension systems, booms, and video integration systems per design specifications and safety standards.
Perform on-site readiness checks and equipment inventory with issue reporting and follow-up.
Program, test, and inspect video sources; document checks prior to project sign-off.
Maintain installation records and provide project updates to stakeholders.
Coordinate travel and schedules to ensure timely completion of installation activities.
Adhere to safety policies and assist with customer training as needed.
