Job summary

West Penn Hospital’s Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide continuous monitoring and advanced support for vascular, oncologic, obstetric, and cardiac surgical patients within the AHN system.

The RN will lead clinical care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while upholding HIPAA and hospital policies. This role is part of Highmark Health’s Allegheny Health Network with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Act 34/33/73 background clearances required.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred: specialty certification; 1+ year inpatient RN experience.
