Job summary

Allegheny Health Network Canonsburg ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts. The 8-bed unit provides critical care and step-down services, caring for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, and complex conditions.

You will work with PCTs, hospitalists, intensivists, and TeleICU to deliver high-quality care. Candidates must hold PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC) and possess required clearances and CPR.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and standards.
• Utilize nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Document comprehensively to support interdisciplinary communication.
• Provide teaching to patients and families across the care continuum.
• Support development of students and new staff as needed.
