Job summary

Dedham Veterinary Associates in Dedham, MA is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician (Surgery-Focused) to join a balanced role with roughly 50/50 surgical and clinical duties.

You'll spend time in the OR assisting with anesthesia and monitoring, alongside busy general practice on the clinic floor, delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with doctors and teammates. Salary is $27–$30/hour DOE, with one evening shift weekly and alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary technician with surgery and clinical duties.
• Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and sterile technique.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Half time in surgery: prepping, assisting, monitoring anesthesia.
• Half time in general practice: support appointments and treatments.
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to maintain patient care quality.
