Ethos Veterinary Health’s Mass Vet in Woburn, MA seeks a Surgery Veterinary Technician to provide advanced nursing care for surgery patients in a busy, high-acuity setting. You’ll monitor anesthesia and recovery, assist veterinarians with procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
The role offers full-time hours with day shifts, weekend rotation, and the potential for additional earnings for VTS credential holders.
Formación
- Veterinary Technician experience required.
- CVT a bonus!
- Surgery or specialty experience a plus.
- Strong patient monitoring, technical nursing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital environment.
- Team-focused mindset with a commitment to patient care and client service.
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.
Responsabilidades
- Provide advanced nursing care for surgery patients.
- Monitor sedation, pain management, and post-operative recovery.
- Support DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, procedures, and patient care plans.
- Triage and monitor high-acuity emergency patients.
- Communicate clearly with doctors, teammates, and clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols.
- Work collaboratively across specialty and emergency teams.
