Job summary

Westerly Hospital is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to support multiple surgical services across trauma, transplant, and colorectal pathways. The role involves inpatient and perioperative coverage with three 12–13 hour shifts per week, including day and night rotation to cover call pools.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active CT licensure as NP or PA with ACLS/BLS; DEA when indicated.
• Prior acute care and/or OR experience strongly preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of surgical patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform inpatient consults, daily rounds, admissions, discharges, and perioperative management.
• Support acute care and operating room workflows and perioperative coordination.
• Participate in on-call coverage as part of designated surgical pools.
